Located in the Tourlos area of Mykonos, Equinox Villa is a distinctive private residence that blends traditional and contemporary Cycladic architecture with subtle bohemian influences and a strong emphasis on natural materials. Inspired by contemporary Mediterranean living, the architectural composition integrates harmoniously with the surrounding landscape, embracing natural light and the seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Designed as a single-level cave villa, the residence blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior, creating a continuous connection with its natural surroundings. Carefully positioned openings and solar chimneys introduce a dynamic sequence of natural lighting conditions, adding depth and dramatic character to the living spaces while enhancing their connection to the outdoors.
Enertek undertook the Mechanical & Electrical (MEP) Design of the project, focusing on achieving high standards of functionality, energy efficiency and thermal comfort. The design involved the coordination and integration of the building services within the architectural composition, ensuring reliable system performance and discreet integration throughout the residence.
